There are many reasons why a muscle may tire quickly, why it develops weakness, or why it does not work or respond as it should. This may be caused by conditions such as Cerebral Palsy (CP), Stroke, Multiples Sclerosis (MS), Motor Neurone Disease (MND) or Nerve Injury. Orthopaedic devices- i.e. splints/callipers/braces/orthoses, have been used extensively over many years to support clients with such deficiencies, often in conjunction with other interventions such as physiotherapy.
