Good anatomical alignment is important for the function and longevity of your joints and muscles.
Misalignment may make movements bio-mechanically less efficient and may be the cause of joint and muscle pain. Over time even minor misalignments may lead to early wear and tear of joints (also referred to as Osteo-Arthritis).
Perhaps you have a minor misalignment – such as flat feet or a slightly shorter leg on one side – or a more severe one, for example after an accident or related to Stroke or Cerebral Palsy.
An orthopaedic device (also called: splint/calliper/brace/orthoses), might be a great help for you-perhaps in combination with targeted physiotherapy. Please contact an Orthotist & Prosthetist for more information.
